Dunsmuir Community Pool

2025 Pool Season Announcement - "Dive In" . . . the pool is now open for the 2025 season. Session 1 of the two-week long Aqua Fitness class will start Thurs. July 10 . Class time: T & Th 5-6pm / Sat. Noon-1pm. Sign up at the pool or before class . Adults - six classes (T-W-Sat) - $30 or $10 drop-in.

Community Center Building

A popular venue for weddings & receptions, reunions, and parties, as well as concerts, fundraisers, youth organization meetings, Scouts, and service club events. Room capacity 350

City Park

Our city park consists of 14 acres of scenic beauty lying right next to the Upper Sacramento River among cedar, oak, and pine trees.

Fountain

In 1887, Alexander Dunsmuir, second son of British Columbian coal baron Robert Dunsmuir, was passing through Cedar Flat, about a mile south of the present town of Dunsmuir.

Football Field - Home of the Dunsmuir Tigers

There are newer grandstands for the home team and portable for the visiting team.

Baseball Field

Dunsmuir City Ball Park is the home of the Dunsmuir High School Tigers baseball team.

The Dunsmuir Recreation and Parks District sponsors or supports a number of events to benefit our community.

Steam Engine

Locomotive 1727 is a class M-6 Mogul built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in 1901.
